Agent integrations

Agent integrations
Agent integrations bring an organisation's TechWolf data into AI tools, in two ways. The Analyst Agent is TechWolf's own agent, which answers strategic HR questions in the TechWolf Console and in Microsoft 365 Copilot. The MCP connector lets the AI tool the organisation already uses, such as Claude, ChatGPT or an agent built in Microsoft Copilot Studio, read that data directly.
Both read the same TechWolf data, and each person gets answers only from the data they can see in the TechWolf Console. Security and data handling covers how each one handles that data.
Key attributes
| Analyst Agent | MCP connector | |
|---|---|---|
| AI model and reasoning | TechWolf runs the model, and the agent reasons. | The organisation's AI tool runs the model and reasons; the connector serves the data. |
| Cost | TechWolf credits, from an allowance shared across the organisation. | No TechWolf credits; the AI tool's use counts towards the organisation's plan with its provider. |
| Where people use it | The TechWolf Console and Microsoft 365 Copilot. | Claude, ChatGPT and agents built in Microsoft Copilot Studio. |
| Method | TechWolf's, built in, so people learn what to ask next. | The organisation's own method and playbooks, given to the AI tool. |
| Setup | TechWolf makes it live and the TechWolf Console admin gives access; for Copilot, the organisation's Microsoft tenant is connected to TechWolf in the TechWolf Console, and a Microsoft 365 admin installs the agent once. | TechWolf turns it on, the TechWolf Console admin gives access, an AI tool admin adds it once, and each person connects their own account. |
| Data it reads | The organisation's TechWolf data, and documents people upload in the Console. | The organisation's TechWolf data, which the AI tool can combine with its other connectors, such as HR or finance systems. |
| What it can change | It can propose a role redesign, which waits for review in the Console. While matching a future role, it also creates temporary custom tasks and removes them in the same answer. | Nothing; every tool only reads. |
How it works
The two work side by side, on one access setup in the TechWolf Console, and suit different work.
- The Analyst Agent suits learning what the organisation's data can answer, a recurring workforce question, and a first answer early in a project.
- The MCP connector suits analyses that need the organisation's own data or method beside TechWolf's, such as pay or a headcount plan, and work carried through many steps into a file the organisation keeps, such as a workforce plan or a role redesign scored task by task.
A common path is to start on the Analyst Agent while the connector goes through the organisation's approval, then move larger, recurring analyses to the connector.
Prerequisites
Each person needs the TechWolf Agent role in the TechWolf Console, which opens both. Each product's page lists the TechWolf data it answers from and who sets up what.
