Analyst Agent
The Analyst Agent is TechWolf's own agent for strategic HR questions. People ask in plain language and get answers from the organisation's Skills Intelligence, Work Intelligence and Market Intelligence data, which stay current as that data refreshes.
Key attributes
- Weekly allowance. The allowance refreshes at the start of each week, and each week's credits are for use within that week.
- Cost follows the work. A simple lookup costs a small number of credits, and a deep, multi-step analysis costs more. Clarifying questions the agent asks before it starts work are free.
- Purchased credits. Credits the organisation buys sit in their own pool, never expire, and are drawn once the weekly allowance is used up.
- Non-production tenants. Staging and testing tenants receive a one-off grant of credits, and the customer success manager grants a top-up when more are needed.
How it works
TechWolf runs the agent on Amazon Bedrock with Anthropic's Claude models, deployed in the EU or the US, and model processing for the organisation stays within that geography. Employees appear under the identifiers the organisation loaded into TechWolf: their name where one was loaded, otherwise their employee ID. Security and data handling covers hosting, storage and model training.
Recall answers, such as how many employees have a skill or what share of a job's time is automatable, are calculations over the organisation's data. Asking again usually returns the same figures, because the data is the same, though the wording, and sometimes the analysis, can differ between runs; the figures move when the data does, for example after profiles are validated. Generative answers, such as the redesign opportunities for a job, are proposals the agent reasons out, so two runs word them differently.
Prerequisites
The agent answers from the organisation's Skills Intelligence, Work Intelligence and Market Intelligence data for the jobs a question touches, including data still awaiting validation, so answer quality depends on that data. Each person signs in as they do to the TechWolf Console, with single sign-on or email sign-in, and needs the TechWolf Agent role there.
Availability
- TechWolf Console: the agent's own interface.
- Microsoft 365 Copilot: inside Copilot, installed once for the organisation.
The agent isn't available to organisations whose TechWolf data is held in Canada, in the Console or in Copilot. They can use the MCP connector instead.
TechWolf makes the agent live for the organisation. The organisation's admins then each follow a guide:
- The TechWolf Console admin gives people the TechWolf Agent role, with Give people access to the Analyst Agent and the MCP connector.
- If the organisation uses the agent in Copilot, the TechWolf Console admin connects the organisation's Microsoft tenant, with Connect your Microsoft tenant in the TechWolf Console, or asks TechWolf to.
- The Microsoft 365 admins install it in Copilot once, with Add the Analyst Agent to Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Each person then opens the agent with the Use the agent guide for the Console or for Copilot.
