SAP Joule integration
The SAP Joule integration brings the Analyst Agent into Joule, SAP's AI assistant. People put workforce questions to the organisation's TechWolf data inside Joule, and the agent answers from the same data, under the same access, as in its own interface in the TechWolf Console. Joule hands each question to the agent through the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol and shows the answer in the same Joule conversation.
The integration has been prototyped and will be productized in the Q4 release Jan 2027.
Key attributes
Inside the organisation's Joule assistant
TechWolf is added to the organisation's main Joule assistant as a capability, so people ask their questions in the Joule they already use, including Joule in SAP SuccessFactors.
Signed in through SAP
Joule passes the signed-in person's identity to TechWolf through the organisation's SAP Cloud Identity Services tenant, and the agent answers as that person, matched on their email address.
Shared credits
Questions asked in Joule draw on the organisation's existing TechWolf credit balance, as they do in the Console and in Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Prerequisites
- The Analyst Agent needs to be live for the organisation.
- A customer-managed Joule instance in the organisation's SAP BTP global account, with the main Joule assistant set up through an Integration with Joule formation.
- Agent building capabilities turned on in the Joule Admin Center. SAP offers these free of charge until 31 December 2026 and bills them in AI Units after that.
- Joule and the SAP applications it is integrated with on one SAP Cloud Identity Services tenant, with each person's email address there matching their email address in TechWolf.
- An SAP BTP administrator and a Cloud Identity Services administrator to set up the connection, and a Joule user with the
capability_adminrole to deploy the TechWolf capability. - The TechWolf Agent role for each person, in the TechWolf Console.
