Exports

Exports deliver TechWolf data in bulk as files, ready for the organisation's data warehouse, reporting, and analytics tools. Rather than paging through the API and transforming the responses, teams receive complete, ready-to-load files on a schedule, so the latest data is always waiting at the delivery location.

Key attributes

Standard exports
A catalogue of ready-made export types covering the whole data set: entity overviews for employees, jobs, courses, and vacancies, the skill profiles of each, the skill taxonomy, task data and AI goals, skill gaps, matching results in every direction, and market comparisons.
Configuration
Configurable exports are set up in the Console's export builder: which columns to include, thresholds such as a minimum match score, and masking of employee identifiers where privacy requires it.
Formats
Files are delivered as CSV, XLSX, or Parquet.
Delivery
Exports land on the organisation's TechWolf file storage, optionally replicated to the organisation's own AWS environment. They can also be delivered over SFTP, either a TechWolf-hosted server or one the organisation hosts. Files can optionally be PGP-encrypted.

How it works

An export is generated on demand or on a configured schedule. TechWolf generates the file, applies the configured format and naming, and delivers it to the agreed location, where the most recent export is always available. Exports can also be generated and downloaded directly from the Console, which keeps a history of previously generated files.

Field-level detail for every export type is documented in TechWolf's developer documentation.

Prerequisites

Exports are part of TechWolf's output integrations. They require a populated tenant and an agreed delivery location that both the organisation and TechWolf can access.

Availability

  • Console: the export builder, where exports are configured, scheduled, generated, and downloaded.
