TechWolf MCP connector in ChatGPT

The TechWolf MCP connector brings an organisation's TechWolf data into ChatGPT. People ask ChatGPT about the organisation's skills, jobs, tasks and workforce, and ChatGPT answers from that data. The workspace's ChatGPT settings, such as Memory and data retention, apply to what it reads.

Key attributes

A plugin for the workspace
A workspace admin adds TechWolf as a plugin named TechWolf, tests it and publishes it. On Enterprise and Edu, the admin chooses the groups that can use it.
Each person connects once
Each person connects their own TechWolf account, signing in as they do to the TechWolf Console. ChatGPT sees only the data that person can see in the Console.
Read-only tools
Every TechWolf tool only reads data, so an admin can allow read actions for everyone and skip the approval prompts.

Prerequisites

  • A ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace. A workspace admin or owner adds and publishes TechWolf; on Enterprise and Edu, members whose custom role includes Create plugins with MCPs can add it as well.
  • A TechWolf Console account with the TechWolf Agent role for each person.

Availability

  • ChatGPT on the web: the admin adds TechWolf, and each person connects their account, in a browser.
  • Regular chats: people start a message with @TechWolf whenever it needs TechWolf data.
